This is one of the hardest posts we have ever had to write.
After six years of pouring our hearts into The Haycraft, we recently learned that the building we call home, along with several others, has been sold. As a result, The Haycraft will be closed after December 31, 2026. At this time, we do not know what the future plans are for the property.
Before sharing this publicly, our priority was making sure the clients whose events are affected heard this news directly from us. We know how much trust it takes to choose a venue for one of the most important days of your life, and taking care of those families through this transition remains our greatest priority.
To say we are devastated would be an understatement.
The Haycraft has never just been a building to us.
It has been six years of weddings, first dances, birthday celebrations, baby showers, graduations, reunions, laughter, happy tears, and some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives.
We have watched couples become families. We’ve watched families return year after year to celebrate another milestone. We’ve watched an empty room transform hundreds of times into something completely different—and somehow, every celebration became part of the story of this place.
We have spent countless days, late nights, and weekends building The Haycraft into something we are incredibly proud of. We have moved furniture at midnight, pressed more linens than we could ever count, decorated thousands of tables, solved last-minute problems no guest ever knew happened, and stood quietly in the back of the room watching people experience moments they will remember for the rest of their lives.
And we would do it all over again.
This was not a transition we ever expected, anticipated, or wanted, and there are still many details we are working through. But what we know for certain is that we are committed to doing everything we can to take care of the clients who trusted us with their events.
We also want to say thank you to the fellow venue owners, vendors, friends, and members of our community who have already stepped forward and offered to help. The kindness we have been shown during an incredibly difficult time has reminded us just how special this event community truly is. We are working hand in hand with so many wonderful people to take care of our clients, and our gratitude for their support is beyond words.
And most importantly, thank you to every single person who has walked through The Haycraft’s doors.

Thank you for allowing us to celebrate your babies, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and milestones.

There will be plenty of time to say goodbye to this building.
For now, for the remainder of the year, we are going to continue doing what we have always done—celebrating our clients, creating beautiful events, and taking care of the people who trusted us.
We don’t know exactly what the next chapter of The Haycraft will look like. But we do know that six years of memories, relationships, friendships, and love for what we do don’t disappear when we hand over the keys to a building.
The Haycraft has always been more than four walls.
It is the people who filled those walls.
