Few things of note!
Saturday is currently shaping up to be very nice, but hot! As always we will have water and encourage frequent breaks.

I would love to briefly go over some safety points, general rule refresh, and talk about citizenship, with the admin/monarchy elections approaching soon.

Don't forget, this Saturday is the deadline to turn in new battle game ideas with rules of play, for voting on!

Sword cover class on Friday during A&s.

I’m gonna go over how to measure your weapon
Seam allowance
Length of fabric
Ways to sew
And I’m gonna go over a couple different ways to secure your end at the top
And answer any other questions.

Suggested items to have:
1 yard of fabric
Needle and thread
Or sewing machine and thread
Cloth Tape measure suggested ( You can use a regular one too, but it’s harder.)
Sword or other weapon
Optional:surger

I look forward to everybody jumping on the discord about five. We’ll start at 5:30. That way it’ll give people time to make sure they can get in to the chat.

Great News!!! We have successfully reserved the Tile room at the Meade County Library from 12-230 on August 1st (tomorrow)! We will NOT be at Meade Olin park this week and instead hold park at the library. Due to location, NO sparring will take place for safety reasons. If weather clears up people can coordinate going elsewhere after the class for any sparring/battle games.
I know this is an hour earlier than normal, but I wanted to make sure we had enough time with the library closing at 230.
