From a Lyn's Academy of Dance student of 17 years (and Miss Lyn’s eldest daughter! 🥰) to becoming one of the studio's instructors and leaders, Miss Meghan's love for dance has surely come full circle.

Looking for the PERFECT way to get your little dancer moving, grooving, and building confidence?! We have TWO openings in EACH of our Wednesday Beginner Hip Hop classes! 🎉

Wednesdays | 6:45–7:15pm

Both classes are designed for dancers ages 4 through 1st grade and will be very similar classes.

From dancing at Barbara Lynne’s School of Dance to taking the reins and transforming it into what is now Lyn’s Academy of Dance, Miss Lyn’s journey has always been rooted in an unwavering love for dance and the arts.

For more than three decades, she has dedicated her life to teaching, choreographing, creating, and inspiring generations of dancers throughout. Her passion for dance, creativity, and commitment to the arts have helped shape not only our studio, but the lives of so many dancers who have walked through our doors. 💗

Today, Miss Lyn continues to pour her heart into Lyn’s Academy of Dance, creating a place where dancers can learn, grow, build confidence, and make memories that last a lifetime. We are so lucky to call her Miss Lyn.

Calling all little tumblers! 🫶🏼✨

Our 2026–2027 season is filling up! Many of our classes are already FULL, but we still have a few openings in this sweet little class! 🩷

🤸 Toddler Tot Gymnastics
• September ‘26–May ‘27 | Thursdays | 5:00–5:30pm
• Ages 18 months–3 years
• Beginner gymnastics instruction
• Dancers participate independently (no parent participation)

Do you have a busy little one who loves to climb, jump, roll, and explore? Our Toddler Tot Gymnastics class is the perfect place to channel that energy into learning new skills while building a foundation for gymnastics and movement!

Through fun, age-appropriate activities, your little gymnast will build:

🩷💜 MONDAY, AUGUST 24 AT LYN’S 🩷💜

🩰 3–5pm: DANCE SHOE FITTINGS:
This is one of the FINAL times for dance shoe fittings. We will not be fitting dancers for shoes once the season starts, so this is the time to make sure your dancer has everything they need for the first week of class. If you need dance shoes, it is imperative that your dancer(s) attend!

🎉 3–8pm: STUDIO OFFICE HOURS:
The studio will also be open for August Office Hours. During this time, families are welcome to:
• Verify their registration for the 2026–2027 season
• Ask questions about classes, schedules, or tuition
• Pick up information or forms
• Meet with us before the season begins
• If you have received a message to pick up any spirit wear items, you are welcome to do so during this time!
