🎉 Congratulations are in order for 2025 Putnam County Fair Queen Emma Luikart! 👑❤️

Emma recently passed her boards and officially earned the title of RN, BSN - a tremendous accomplishment and the result of years of hard work, dedication, perseverance, and faith. ✝️ 🩺✨

And as if that wasn’t exciting enough, Emma will be celebrating another milestone next week as she says “I do!” 💍💐

From all of us at the Putnam County Fair, we are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and success in this exciting new chapter.

If you've been coming to the Putnam County Fair long enough, you've probably waited out a summer storm.

Under the tents.
Inside the barns.
Or while trying to protect your funnel cake from getting soaked.

When we asked what makes the fair special, more than a few of you mentioned the rain and somehow, those stories always come with a smile.

Because around here, a little mud just means more memories. 😉

❤️ Camp may be over, but the memories will last a lifetime. 🍀

This weekend, our Pre-Teen Queen Bri and Teen Queen Sophia wrapped up a wonderful week at 4-H Camp. From learning new skills and building confidence to making new friends and sharing countless laughs, camp is about so much more than just a few days away from home.

4-H has long been an important part of our community and our fair family. It helps shape young people into leaders, teaches the value of service and responsibility, and creates memories that stay with them for years to come.

We are so proud of Bri and Sophia and all of the campers who spent the week learning, growing, and making memories together.

These experiences are helping grow the future of and preserving the traditions and values that make our community so special. ❤️

Today’s campers are tomorrow’s leaders, volunteers, exhibitors, and champions and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish.

👑 A royal evening in Charleston! ✨

2026 Putnam County Fair Queen Miranda attended the Miss West Virginia USA and Miss West Virginia Teen USA competitions last night. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the pageant community and the young women who represent our state with grace and dedication.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Miss West Virginia USA, Alanna Lynch, and all of the contestants who took the stage. We wish them the very best as they represent West Virginia in the year ahead. ❤️

We’re proud of Queen Miranda and the wonderful job she does representing the Putnam County Fair and our community! 🎡👑

Reason #28: Fair Food

There are some foods you only crave once a year and somehow, they taste even better at the fair.

Whether it's a funnel cake, fresh-cut fries, barbecue, lemon shake-ups, or your favorite booth that you visit every year, fair food has a way of bringing people together- and don't even get us started on the Putnam County 4-H food booth. 😋

Clearly, the fair food is special, but sharing food with family and friends is one of the reasons it makes our countdown.

Because some traditions are best enjoyed one bite at a time.
