The South Hardin Schools: Home of the Tigers community enjoyed a varsity football win against Iowa Falls-Alden last night as well as the debut of the 2026 South Hardin Bands Marching Tigers halftime show! Check out these clips of Beat It, I Want You Back, and Thriller and come back for homecoming on September 25th to see how the show progresses!

It's hard to believe school is already starting tomorrow! There is so much to look forward to this coming year in South Hardin Performing arts. We wanted to give everyone a quick recap of our meeting held last Thursday.

1. First meeting with our new board members and roles. Be on the lookout for some meet the board posts to meet our new board members, and learn about our position changes after our election last May.

2. We already have 51 members, many of which have very generously increased past donations. We are also excited to welcome some new members to SHPAB!

3. Band enrollment numbers are up from past years!

4. Many events to look forward to this fall and winter including marching band, the musical, and a fun line-up for our christmas concerts.

5. Meetings will be held the 3rd Monday of every month. Next one will be Sept. 21st.

We wanted to quick remind everyone of our upcoming meeting tomorrow night at 6:15 in the middle school music room. We also wanted to thank everyone who donated desserts or their time for marching band meals last week.

Hello everyone!

It has only been a week and a half since our mailer went out, and we already have 28 members! We wanted to say thank you, and keep those memberships coming so we can continue to provide for our South Hardin performing arts! We also wanted to inform everyone that our next meeting will be on August 20th at 6:15pm after back to school night. We would love for you to join us. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out.

Good Afternoon!

Couple of items we wanted to inform everyone about.

Keep an eye out for our membership mailers. They should be going out this Saturday!

South Hardin Marching Band Camp is scheduled from August 11th-14. South Hardin Performing Art Boosters is providing meals for the kids during camp, but we would love to be able to also provide them with a sweet treat. If you are interested in donating some baked goods for the kids for dessert, please sign up using the link below. Desserts should be dropped off at the high school on the date of your sign up by 11AM.
