What a BLAST!!

Thanks to the Betty Collins Fund, five South Hardin students attended the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards Showcase to watch Katie Dolan and Mayella Miller perform in the closing medley and take in the amazing performances from high school students across the state.

For many of these students, it was their first time seeing a live performance at the Des Moines Civic Center. This is exactly the kind of experience Betty created for her students during her teaching career and how this fund was intended to be spent. We look forward to future opportunities to bring our students to high caliber live performances to inspire them!
