Someone told me last week that it "can't possibly be that hot" in our arcade when I told them that we needed to get HVAC...

Someone told me last week that it "can't possibly be that hot" in our arcade when I told them that we needed to get HVAC units for that part of the building before opening the arcade.

This is what I looked like after just 30 minutes of moving a few things around yesterday in the arcade and that's with the bay door open, no equipment on, a ventilation fan running, and fans moving the air.

Anyone that knows me knows I have a decent tolerance for heat and love being outside so this should picture should speak volumes.

My point here is that I need you to come in and check out our store so we can afford the upgrades needed to make the arcade a more comfortable experience for everyone.

Here's a throwback for you...

These two games started the whole idea of the Retro Arcade. They are the 2 very first games I bought when I had the idea to add arcade games to our store at 9 South Maple over 10 years ago.

They were unfortunately sold long ago though.

We are getting closer to opening back up. Stay tuned for details...

Nintendo of America ended production of the VS. System and related hardware to focus fully on home consoles.

If we were to open on cooler days before we get the AC units would you still be willing to come check us out?
We do have a ventilation fan and fans to help move the air around.

But as a member of Gen X I also know that it was far more fun to be there in person watching a victory run for that honor of having the high score.
