A Summer Pizza Happening.

In particular, delicious artisanal Roman-style personal pizza made by Toby Buggiani, owner of Adelina’s, taking over HXH with his pizza ovens and signature Roman-style pizza.

On Sunday, June 28, join us for an unhurried summer evening of great food and drinks in the welcoming atmosphere of HXH.

Toby’s pizza, known as Pinsa, is crafted from a blend of organic American flours and hyper-local, organic ancient grains. Embracing the patience of tradition, he uses a 75-year old mother dough for a slow, natural leaven. The result is his signature crust: bursting with depth of flavor, crispy on the outside, and cloud-like on the inside.

Choose from 3 pizzas, each $20, featuring our favorite local summer flavors:

Fresca: Sauce, local house-made stracciatella, pesto, cheery tomato & arugula

-Amatriciana: Sauce, local family farm guanciale, local pecorino & house-made mozzarella, basil & hot oil drizzle

-Bosco: Sauce, local shiitake, parsley & EVOO

Pizza is cash only.

Beer, wine and non-alcoholic varieties available for purchase.

If you haven’t had Adelina’s pizza, you’re in for a something special. Toby is a Rome-born, NYC-raised pizzaiolo who has spent his career working with master bakers and James Beard-winning chefs. After running a successful Brooklyn wine bar/ pizzeria from 2012 to 2020, he brought his lifelong obsession with perfecting Roman-style pizza to the Finger Lakes region. Now he’s bringing that obsession to Hartlot Happening…we can’t wait!

Bring a picnic blanket and spread out on the lawn, settle into a table under the Veranda, or under a market umbrella in the Courtyard.

Come have a pie!

Hartlot Happening is the work of two craftspeople. Keith works in metal, Lora in clay. Together, we bring a shared love for making, and dedication to detail, to create a gathering space that is undeniably one-of-a-kind.

We built this place the same way we make everything else. Slowly, by hand, with purpose.

The hospitality we offer is grounded in the belief that gathering is itself a craft. Care creates a celebration that feels effortless, an invitation that feels genuine.

Good things, built to last, take time. The couples who choose HXH for their wedding get that.

Spring planting gone wild at HXH. A first haul of native plants from in Elbridge. We’re reimagining landscaping that evolves with the place, brings a different kind of energy to the space, a living system that shifts with the seasons. Just getting started at the venue and a few doors down.

Pollinators need places to gather too. 🌼
