We’re celebrating the beauty of summer flora in our next botanical imprint pottery workshop.

Sunday, June 14
10am - 1pm
Hartlot Happening

Learn techniques of handbuilding pottery with slabs of clay, or build on your already established practices and skills. Enjoy the playful work of designing in clay with stems, blossoms, seeds, leaves, and petals grown and gathered locally by .

Make a plate, small platter, pendant, tile, or simple vessel for table or garden. A one of a kind expression of summer layered in natural beauty.

The workshop experience is designed to be accessible for everyone and no prior work with clay is necessary to fully enjoy this hands-on, relaxed, and creative process.

All materials are provided, and you will have the choice of cobalt, black, and copper oxide and washes to color your botanical imprints.

An abundant, seasonal lunch prepared by your hosts concludes the morning. As always, coffee is waiting for you when you arrive to fuel the morning creativity.

After the workshop, pieces will dry slowly, be bisque fired, then painted with oxides and glazed to fire one more time. Pieces are available to pick up in approximately 3 weeks.

Come create and connect at HXH. Link to register in bio.

Hartlot Happening is the work of two craftspeople. Keith works in metal, Lora in clay. Together, we bring a shared love for making, and dedication to detail, to create a gathering space that is undeniably one-of-a-kind.

We built this place the same way we make everything else. Slowly, by hand, with purpose.

The hospitality we offer is grounded in the belief that gathering is itself a craft. Care creates a celebration that feels effortless, an invitation that feels genuine.

Good things, built to last, take time. The couples who choose HXH for their wedding get that.

Spring planting gone wild at HXH. A first haul of native plants from in Elbridge. We’re reimagining landscaping that evolves with the place, brings a different kind of energy to the space, a living system that shifts with the seasons. Just getting started at the venue and a few doors down.

Pollinators need places to gather too. 🌼

Celebrating one of our favorite collaborations. Nina of and her vast collection of specialty rentals are right here on site at HXH. Industrial and vintage together in one place.

More than an added convenience for guests, Nina knows the spaces, the flow, the mood of HXH. She’s the ideal guide for selecting pieces that layer beautifully and naturally into the distinctive environment here.

We’re drawn to design that honors the beauty inherent in what’s already here, the obvious and the overlooked. If you’re looking for inspiration for your gathering, come see what HXH and SRV can help you create.

Reflections that speak to the heart of why we do what we do, and the care in how we do it.

When Rebekah and Randy asked if they could hang their own original artwork in the space as part of their wedding, we just knew…this must be the place for them.

To all the couples who’ve trusted their vision to us and this space, we are deeply thankful.

An artful day beautifully photographed by .
