Happy FOUR YEAR Anniversary to Dungeon by the Sea
I can sit here and re-write this caption 100 times and I still don’t think I’ll be able to properly put into words how crazy of a ride the last four years have been. There have been a lot of incredible moments and there have been some not so incredible moments, all of those however sum up to an experience I wouldn’t trade for anything.
When I opened this studio in Feb of 2020, I had extremely high hopes and very low expectations. It was a literal shot in the dark, and when Covid hit I was unsure if this venture that I had sunk practically my entire life’s savings into was going to be a total fluke… but it wasn’t, because we’re still here.
Not only was this studio able to stay afloat but we have steadily done better year after year. And this is where I begin my thank yous, because I wouldn’t have been able to do this without some very special and supportive people.
A HUGE thank you first goes out to every single client who has walked into this studio, cliche, but without you we wouldn’t be here. A big thank you goes out to my brother .hyder for being here every single time we needed to paint something, build something, break something etc. I also want to thank my mentor for teaching me everything I know… I owe him too much. Huge shoutout to for coming in and working with us these past few months.
Lastly tho, I want to thank my business partner, my friend, my peer, my brother, my musical foxhole buddy, Joseph ( ). This studio would not be the same without Joe. Not only have we grown together, but he has also taught me a lot and I can only hope that I have returned the favor in a small way. He has been such a great partner in all of this and even if we suddenly had to shut our doors tomorrow, meeting Joe and sharing this space with him is something that I will carry with me for eternity…. That being said, we still have A LOT more records to make.
So come on down to Dungeon by the Sea! Celebrating four years of DIY, Dow and Dirty, No frills recording 🔥🔥🔥
Much love
