20th anniversary block print for my school. I’m glad to have been able to show students the process of developing this work over the course of the school year: from earliest sketch to the many refining passes of the composition, the tracings and the photocopies, mirroring, paste ups and small adjustments that all led to the final carving and rolling out of the prints. And all the quiet time of thinking and critique and conversation between. Some think it’s a lot of stirring for a tiny pot, but hopefully they saw that the process is the best part.

Here are some detail shots from a new series I made this summer, which will debut at next week's .
My shop/studio will be a participating venue this year, and we're hosting works by also. There will be music by Michele Ryan, Music her daughter Lucy, the Main St. Band (and maybe Sanguine and Shiny) not to mention a unique space and lots of vintage bikes and cars.
