The first ever Route 66 Classic Open Cattle Show has officially come and gone and what an absolutely SPECTACULAR debut it was! 🤠✨

The caliber of cattle, the level of competition, and the incredible community atmosphere made the inaugural Route 66 Classic everything we hoped it would be and more! To every exhibitor, handler, and competitor who made the trip and brought their very best cattle and their very best competition, THANK YOU!

What a way to kick off what is sure to become one of the most beloved traditions at the Canadian County Free Fair! We cannot wait to see you back next year!

Friday night at the fair was full of family fun and great music! The Canadian County Expo & Event Center was buzzing with energy during farmhand olympics, the midway lights lit up the night, and the Main Stage delivered a show that Canadian County will not soon forget! 🎡✨

The Battle of the Bands 1st Place Winner kicked off the evening in style before Jason Scott & the High Heat took over the Main Stage. What an incredible night of live music!

To every family that came out and made memories together last night, THANK YOU! Nights like these are exactly what the Canadian County Free Fair is all about!

The fun isn’t over yet though. Today is the last day of the 2026 Canadian County Fair and we are going out with a BANG! Don’t miss out on one final day of fair fun! 🎪🌟

7:00 AM–12:00 PM — Tractor & Car Show
8:30 AM — Rt. 66 Classic Entries Due
9:00 AM — Event Center Opens
10:00 AM — Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull (Youth ages 4–12!)
10:00 AM — Rt. 66 Classic Cattle Show
10:00 AM–4:00 PM — Kids Free Fun Zone
10:00 AM–4:00 PM — CanCo Showcase | Main Stage
11:00 AM — Salsa Showdown (Homemade salsa only — entries accepted 10–11AM!)

THIS AFTERNOON:
12:00 PM — Poultry Show
12:00 PM — Midway Opens
2:00 PM — Ice Cream Freeze Off (Entries accepted 1–2PM
3:00 PM — Rabbit Show
4:00 PM — Midway Carnival closes for reset (reopens at 6PM!)
