Come join in on the big celebration! MCAD is excited to announce the fifteen-year anniversary of Chalk the Block which will take place in the heart of the Downtown Arts District on October 7-9, 2022! What started out as a one-day event featuring twelve artists has now transformed into a three-day event, featuring over 100 local and touring artists. This year’s theme will be “15 years in the 915" to celebrate and commemorate our "quincinera!" As part of this momentous celebration, MCAD will be showcasing the local artistic talent that makes El Paso unique. Chalk artists, musicians, muralists, and arts and crafts vendors are centered in this year’s event along with unique installations from nationally recognized artists.
