Got an N64 modded with N64Digital that suddenly turned off and stopped showing video. The system had zero insulation and something must have shorted and it killed the expansion pack as well. I found one of the resistors in the arrays had blown so I soldered a new single 51 ohm resistor on top and viola! I also transferred the N64Digital to a different N64 and now the customer can get back to playing his games!

Got anotherPS2 fat Gem install BUT first I had to figure out why controller port 1 wasn’t working but port 2 was. I was able to figure out it was an issue with the controller board and after taking it apart and probing with a multimeter I found this pin had broken free. A simple reflow and the board started working as expected.

This was a tough one! Failed install with quite a bit of damage!!! Removed the destroyed flex and as much of the solder mask, replaced two resistor arrays, and replaced the missing fan connector. Got a beautifully booting system in the end

Got this sub 39k series fat PS2 for install. Customer tried to do the install himself first but was unable too. He sent it to me and it wasn’t turning on at first. Swapped out the ps001 fuse and removed all the excess solder and made sure the console was working before moving forward with the gem install. I forgot i had removed the sd card from my scope so I didn’t get pics of the final install but got the job done. Hardest gem install to date

Cleaned up and restored a customers Gc! Used a wire wheel to remove all the rust, washed and cleaned the shell, lubricated all the moving parts with high quality grease, swapped out the boring orange power LED for a pink one, and the grand finale….installed Picoboot to access their titles straight from the sd card.

Need a bit of help with a 360 slim corona board. I wired up a pico board and used Jrunner + ISD Sound Editor to load up the Star Wars boot/eject custom sounds. The software verifies the flash but the console doesn’t actually play any sound. I tried different speakers but it won’t make any noise. Anybody ever run into this? I’m guess there’s a resistor or cap that’s gone bad.
