The Forum Theatre at the El Paso Community College announces

AUDITIONS

For its June 2023 LGBTQ production

POZ

A delightful heartwarming comedy by
Michael Aman
Directed by TR KJ- Ted Karber, Jr.

Audition dates
Monday and Tuesday, April 24 and 25 at 7:00 p.m.
At Transmountain The Forum Theatre (9570 Gateway Blvd North)

Performance dates:
June 9-18

Rehearsal dates
April 26 through June 8 (Monday through Friday, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Some weekends may be involved.)

Casting for:
Catherine – an elegant actress with cynicism that covers her overly generous heart.
Edison – a young man in his early 20’s. Exuberant and clueless, but full of optimism. A hunger for life shines from him.
Robert – In a rut he likes to call life.
Oscar – old-school, fabulous gay. He pretends to be bitter, but it’s part of the act.
Maia – an extremely intelligent woman who speaks with angels - on the crossroads of eccentric and high strung.
Arthur – a stunningly beautiful man - a bit flamboyant. In his 30’s - at least he looks like he is because that’s how old he was when he died. His fashion shows that he’s stuck in 1991.

These will be cold reading auditions, taken from the script. No prepared monologues, head shots, or resumes necessary.

Information: 915-831-3205 OR [email protected]
Produced by special arrangement with the Barbara Hogenson Agency
