This is gonna take a couple posts to get through all the sick photos from this session, but the crew absolutely KILLED it on this one! This pour really showed that TEAMWORK truly does make the DREAMWORK! You can kinda see the finishing process as we post more photos from this session.

We had about 10 people roll through, throughout the day to help us mix. Collecting the material, getting it to the spot, and then mixing it all by hand on the ground is where most of the energy goes (besides moving filler). We simply need more people mixing, or we need trucks to accomplish more than about 1.5 yards by hand. This was a little more than a yard and a half, of the equivalent of like 65 to 70, 80 pound Quicrete bags.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible! It takes a village to make a project like this possible! Thank you to everyone who has stuck it out this far!

Doin' the dirty work to get this pour prepped! This is probably like 3 tons of sand/gravel mix.

Thank you to everyone who has pitched in on this project! We're getting some flow to the park finally! We need help physically and financially! If you can pitch anything into the Go Fund Me, that would be fantastic! Even $5 or $10 helps! It all adds up!

Thank you to everyone who has helped/donated in anyway! This is going to be the best park in the Southwest!

Lots of people think that DIY just means pouring concrete, but it's a lot more complicated than that. Pouring the concrete is the fun part... Just allocating, collecting, and storing material, actually physically getting the material down to the spot, framing, running fundraisers, spot clean up/maintenance, keeping everyone hyped/involved, negotiating with local entities/authorities, trying to learn new techniques while not wasting precious materials... It can get a little overwhelming if you don't have a plan, somewhere to store materials, a perfect location for your DIY, and lots of support from the local scene. Some of this stuff can be more overwhelming than the actual pouring of the concrete. Just know if you start a DIY, you're opening a huge can of worms.

These projects are never a one-man operation. It takes a village.

Thank you to everyone who has made this possible! Lots of people have put in countless amounts of effort to make this possible! Thank you all!

PSI Concrete Core Sample Coping! Let's get it!

This just makes sense. If you know, you know. We used 3.75" x 1/4" Tapcons to anchor them to the rebar. Each Core has two Tapcons. They are all anchored to two #4 rebars.

This s**t grinds like butter!!
🤤🧈💦

Thank you to everyone who made this one possible! This is our best obstacle yet!
