Today, we join our community in remembering the victims, survivors, families, and all those forever impacted by the tragedy of August 3, 2019.

Seven years have passed, yet El Paso continues to carry the memory of that day with compassion, resilience, and unity.

Tonight, as the Star on the Mountain flashes 23 times, we pause to honor the 23 innocent lives that were taken and to reflect on the strength that continues to define our border community.

At VIVA! El Paso, we celebrate the culture, history, and people who make this region so special. Today, we stand with our community in remembrance, honoring those we lost and reaffirming the love and unity that will always define El Paso.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

That's a wrap on Season 49!

To every performer, musician, technician, volunteer, crew member, board member, sponsor, and every audience member who joined us under the stars this summer—thank you.

This season challenged us, inspired us, and reminded us why VIVA! El Paso has remained a treasured tradition for generations. Every standing ovation, every backstage laugh, every rehearsal, and every unforgettable performance became part of our story.

But this isn't goodbye.

Next summer, VIVA! El Paso celebrates 50 years, and we're already dreaming bigger than ever. New surprises. New memories. A celebration worthy of the thousands of artists and audiences who have made this production what it is today.

We can't wait to welcome you back to McKelligon Canyon for our Golden Anniversary Season.

Tonight, the curtain falls on our 49th season.

After Mother Nature had other plans for us last night, we're grateful for one more opportunity to share the magic of VIVA! El Paso.

If you joined us yesterday and missed the full performance, we would be honored to welcome you back tonight. And if you've been waiting for the perfect time to experience El Paso's longest-running outdoor musical, this is it.

The newly crowned Miss US International is the daughter of VIVA! El Paso veterans Amanda Amaya Milner and Patrick McGuire, making this achievement especially meaningful to our VIVA! family.

It was our honor to welcome Miss US International to VIVA! El Paso last night. Thank you for celebrating with us and for your support of our production.

When the lights come up and the curtain rises, these are the people already hard at work.

As we celebrate the final weekend of VIVA! El Paso’s 49th season, we’re proud to recognize the incredible backstage crew whose dedication, teamwork, and countless hours make every performance possible.

From rebuilding scenery and moving sets in the dark to preparing microphones, operating spotlights, organizing the shop, and making sure every technical detail is ready, these talented individuals are the heartbeat behind the scenes.

Their work may not always be visible to the audience, but their impact is felt in every scene, every transition, and every standing ovation.
