I'm in Missouri celebrating my middle child's graduation from high school.

I'm going to add patience to my skill set as I string beads along the ruffle.

I'm more of a finished product reveller than a enjoy the process artist. Sooo... patience is not really my thang. 🤷‍♀️

I had to order her a new cord bc while the vintage is fab, it was bent, cracked, and already electric tapped back together in the hidden parts, and that's a fire hazard. So, new black cord will be here tomorrow, and then I'll be almost ready to put her back into one piece!

But, for now, here's the shade so far.

Working on my lamp while I binge The Boroughs.

This show is GGEEWDD.

Purple, Black, and Yellow. She's gonna be gorgeous.

I took her completely apart to use each piece as a template bc I've never done a ruffly lamp before and I have no fu**in' clue what I'm doin'. I mean, I know I'm wingin' it, but after that, it's a penny and a wishin' well.

I've been working on these all week. Salt Wash takes layers and layers and a lot of dry time.

I think they turned out pretty cool.
