This move feels a lot like destashing! I’m consolidating both my home and commercial space into a single, larger location, complete with a separate film studio, office, and warehouse, even closer to the ocean.
This move, especially when it feels overwhelming, has been a good reminder of how I grew Studio Knit over the past twelve years. And how much of that growth happened because you were here. Watching tutorials. Knitting along. Sharing projects. Encouraging me when I tried something new.
Growth, for me, has never meant adding everything or holding onto every good idea. It has come from letting go of what no longer supports the work, and trusting what does.
Much like knitting, it’s happened stitch by stitch. One decision at a time. Often quietly.
I didn’t build this business by doing everything at once. I built it by choosing what to keep close, what to set down, and showing up consistently, knowing I wasn’t doing it alone.
Back to restocking the shelves and searching for that wine opener.
