Trent's finds great amusement in his own drawings, as do many people around the world. Trent's family works to share Trent's talent with as many people as possible. Although he can't express that he understands his success, he is a gift to his family and the people who know him!

A few days ago, we had the privilege of speaking to a wonderful group of volunteers at Via Christi Hospital in Wichita.

Trent was a little anxious about being in a hospital and having to ride an elevator, but once we got settled, he did great! He sat through our presentation, and when it was time to draw for everyone, he was genuinely excited to show them what he could do! I can't remember Trent ever drawing on an easel before, but he rocked it!

A special thank you to our friend, Cheryl O'Brien, for inviting us. Cheryl worked with Trent years ago at Heartspring and recognized his potential long before Drawings by Trent was ever a business. It's pretty special to have people in your life who see your abilities, even when the challenges are so obvious.

And that's really a big part of our "why" behind Drawings by Trent.

We believe that living alongside people with differences changes us. When we take the time to get to know someone, look beyond their challenges, and recognize what they bring to the world, we all benefit.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to share Trent's story with people who spend their time serving and caring for others.

And we're especially thankful for people like Cheryl, who believed in Trent long before the rest of the world knew his name!
