Processing day flew by, but the results will last. The KOS Girls put in the work to hatch, raise, and process 11 roosters on our farm. Now we're enjoying the fruits of our labor… quite literally. Our freezer is stocked, and we're grateful for this farm's blessings. Thank you to our community for sharing their processing equipment to make this day possible!! We love our community so much!!

The storm has passed, but its gift of tranquility remains! 🎄 Our is thriving… the pond is full, the field pond is overflowing, and the tiny runoffs are still flowing. We're feeling thankful for this storm's kindness. Now, onto the cleanup and repairs! Our Manny, Dax, Posey, Sally Mae, and Little Dude/Food weathered the storm like pros!

We had a first on the ranch yesterday.
We harvested our first livestock.

Yes, they had names.
Yes, they were loved.
Yes, they were a spark of joy.
Yes, they will be missed.
Yes, they are food.

Hours have been put into these animals for fair.
Hours of raising, training, growing.
Not only growth for the animals, but the growth that was blessed to our girls.

We are blessed by their sacrifice. Their lives now live on through what we learned, food that will sustain our families growth, and the growth of others as well.

Farm days are beautiful, but at times they are the hardest lessons.
