Hotdesk & Cowork at Filma: Want to try coworking but wework is both expensive and feels as stuffy as the office you left behind? You can cowork from Filma where you get to work in an industrial-chic facility that is anything but stuffy. Also, unlike most coworking spots in the Bay, our goal is to stay small - you'll never have to deal with very many people if you cowork here - always room for you

and plenty of it. You also get the added bonus of being able to use the shop at night for your creative projects. Makerspace at Filma: Filma is all about creativity at it's core. Our shop is always accessible for artists. Art during coworking hours just needs to be respectful of the other folks in the space. Evenings and on the weekends, you can table saw every piece of wood your heart desires. Artists have a special sliding scale rate - we always make it work for someone who wants to make art here. Studios at Filma: Filma contains 5 private rentable studios. These studios are varying sizes and some can even accommodate hotwork. Studios come with access to our 1700 sq ft shared shop area. All studios have windows that open, 24/7 access, and other perks. Please inquire about studios or checkout our website for more information. Filma Collective Art: Filma Collective makes large installation art. Our art piece, Wormhole, is a 20 foot long, 8 foot wide, 8 foot high rainbow tunnel that listens to sound. Recently it even won an award at the Oakland Lake Merritt Autumn Lights Festival. We like making art independently and we like to make art as a community.
