Paula Swaydan Grebel is a featured artist at our upcoming show "Abstraction & Its Levels of Realism" Opening reception on Friday, June 12, 4-7 pm and Artist Talk on Saturday, June 13, 1 pm. All are welcome.
"What excites me the most about painting is the ability to create movement and illusionary depth within a rectangle as defined by the placement of color structures and paint application. For example, how space can be defined by color and shapes and how grouping objects can make them lose their individual identities, creatong a more evocative, abstract and unforeseen composition. My endeavor is to convey an honest appraisal of what my eye saw, expressing it with an unpretentious naturalness." - Paula Swaydan Grebel

Shar Coulson's paintings will be highlighted as part of our Abstraction & it's Levels of Realism show opening June 11-July 2. Her works explore the tension between perception and reality. The lush paint application plays with solid contrast and a spectrum of tonal shifts, resulting in a harmonious balance of expressive energy and lush tranquility. Shar lives and works in Chicago and her works are exhibited both nationally and internationally. We are thrilled to feature her work at our gallery.

We are happy to feature Paul Bobrowitz today at our gallery. He has been creating metal art for over two decades. His sculptures are included in a number of prominent public and private collections and have been featured in exhibits throughout the United States. He is the recipient of several prestigious art awards dating back to 1994. He uses oxidized metals and stainless steel as well as found objects to create his signature pieces. We are fortunate to have his amazing works adorning our beautiful gardens here at the gallery and you can too!

We invite you to join us for our upcoming show, ABSTRACTION & ITS LEVELS OF REALISM featuring Shar Coulson, Brian Sindler and Paula Swaydan Grebel. Opening reception is Friday, June 12, 4-7 pm and Artist talk Saturday, June 13, 1 pm. All are welcome.

Our next featured artist is Amy Belford. She lives in Door County and her fused glass works add a beautiful and brilliant array of colors and patterns to our gallery. Many of her pieces evoke images of woven fabrics from her many years of knitting and embroidering with colorful yarns and threads. The endless color combinations make each piece unique and one of a kind! Her fused glass pieces are both functional and decorative.
