Birch Creek Music Performance Center Birch Creek is a unique, performance-based summer music program for youth and adults in Door County.

Birch Creek, located in the heart of Wisconsin's beautiful Door County, is a young musician's dream. Founded in 1976, this unique summer music academy and concert venue provides talented students, ages 13 to 19, advanced training as well as the opportunity to perform publicly alongside some of the top music professionals in the country. Birch Creek offers four two-week summer sessions: Percussion

& Steel Band, Symphony, and Jazz (two sessions). The student-to-faculty ratio averages 2:1, ensuring that students receive attentive mentoring from top music educators and professionals. Following the academy season we also offer a Symphonic Wind Ensemble Camp (formerly Adult Band Camp) for community band members and music teachers and a Chamber Music Retreat for adult musicians at an intermediate or above level.

Birch Creek's Adult Music Retreats offer a chance to step away from daily routines and immerse yourself in music alongside fellow musicians from across the country. Whether you're a community band member, music educator, returning player, or dedicated amateur, you'll find expert instruction, meaningful musical connections, and an inspiring Door County setting.

At Birch Creek Music Performance Center, students gain two weeks of intensive, immersive musical training—an experience some faculty members describe as more growth than they might see in a full school semester.
