@🌅 Artist Spotlight: MoonShroom is the star crossed culmination of liberated artistic expression & high energy performance. Genuine songwriting is at the core of this dynamic project. Fueled by the song craft of Lily B Moonflower & Jake Keegan, the act hones their unique sound with genuine lyrics, tight vocal harmonies, and intricate instrumental conversation. The group, hailing from Lawrence Kansas, performs captivating sets on stages far & wide. Featuring Lily B Moonflower on guitar & vocals, Jake Keegan on dobro & vocals, & Colby Allen Walter on bass & vocals. Together they create a unique sonic tapestry, building a bridge the audience can cross to feel a oneness with the musical energy radiating from the stage! Expanding upon stylings of Americana, bluegrass, folk, and country — the group sends their sound into the stratosphere with their signature spin of “Grassadelic Twang”. MoonShroom tours heavily in the festival circuit, and at venues around the country — Hop in the cosmic train and come PARTY ON THE MOON!

Each day of the festival includes a songwriters-in-the-round portion, where multiple artists showcase intimate versions of their songs with the stories behind them.

Songwriters-In-The-Round on Sunday, Sep. 13th are Ethan Taylor Stephenson (Carbondale, IL), Joseph Eastwood Frisch, and Ian Leith (Chicago, IL).

🌅 Artist Spotlight: ​ Taylor Steele & The Love Preachers are a four piece Americana band with a powerful woman singer/songwriter as its driving force. The Love Preachers have a way of sneaking up on you. The music is soulful, but sublime. The songs are smart and original, with roots that take you through rock and roll back to the blues of the old south. The vocal quality of Taylor Steele is reminiscent of great legendary singers like Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples but also modern stars like Susan Tedeschi and Gillian Welch. Stemming from these influences, she has immense control of her voice as she belts out notes and improvises, all while finding a beautiful balance between vibrato, tone, and projection. Just when you think you have it figured out, the Love Preachers start preaching, Taylor’s voice starts soaring, and they take you for a ride you won't soon forget.

🌅 Artist Spotlight: Blending the raw storytelling tradition of John Prine with the timeless sounds of George Jones, Peebles & the Moonlighters bring a fresh yet classic energy to the Country/Americana scene. Fronted by Hunter Peebles, whose powerful vocals and poignant lyrics explore the highs and lows of the human experience, the band features a signature mix of crying steel guitar, rich instrumentation, and heartfelt melodies.
