I found this fun selfie from a gig I did earlier this year. Life is way different now, and I miss getting to perform. I have been working on a million different projects, but the motivation feels different without the knowledge of an upcoming performance. I love dance with my whole heart, and can’t wait to be able to do it for an audience again. Until then, I’ll content myself with dancing for my own personal enjoyment, and staring fondly at old video/pictures.

About Neela Swan

Neela Swan has been belly dancing since 2014, learning from teachers all over Illinois and St. Louis. She has been lucky enough to try various styles of belly dance, but is truly passionate about performing Egyptian style dance.

She began her studies with Aliah in Bloomington, Illinois, and since then has also studied consistently with Pava Productions. She currently continues her studies with Belly Dance With Nisaa in St. Louis, as well as travels regularly to learn from many prestigious instructors. Neela is certified in levels 1 and 2 of Sahra Saeeda’s Journey Through Egypt program.

Neela Swan is available for weddings, haflas, birthdays, and other events.
