MCMS Art students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade worked on art pieces inspired by Candy. These projects were so Cool! All students did a fantastic job, and we also made it competitive! Each grade had a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner. Stay tuned…there is a Best of the Best vote that is currently taking place 😊

7th grade art students took a try at Charcoal pencil drawing. They did an excellent job working with a new medium!

The 6th grade art class has been collaborating in groups to learn about working with paper mache. They started these snowmen sculptures before all the snow and ice and were able to finally finish their designs this week. Very creative and a few of them might have a little attitude!

7th grade art students have been trying a new technique, and pictures do not do these art pieces justice! Students used paint, hot glue, and resin to create this art piece on canvas. These are so pretty in person, with a shine like stained glass ❤️
