Cascadia Art Museum is an educational, nonprofit organization that celebrates the rich tradition of the visual arts and design in the Northwest during the period 1860-1970. Mission
Cascadia Art Museum honors the rich tradition of Northwest visual art and design during the period 1860-1970 through original exhibitions, public programs, publications, and educational outreach. Like the artists who created it, our focus may be regional, but our vision is universal. As a collecting institution, we are dedicated to preserving the legacy of our historic regional art to inspire future generations to study and enjoy.

Start at Cascadia Art Museum with a guided tour exploring the art, artists, and stories behind the current exhibitions. Then, head across the hall to Epulo Bistro for a hands-on cocktail-making experience inspired by the art you just explored - The perfect pairing for a creatively fun outing.

Did you know that Cascadia hosted nearly 2,000 students on educational field trips last year? Our program Cascadia Art For Schools provides fully-funded field trips and classroom art activities for local students ages K-12. We are honored to offer teachers an accessible and hands-on opportunity for their class to learn more about Northwest art!

Join us for a special lecture on Thursday, October 8!

Architect and Northwest design expert Lawrence Kreisman will discuss this remarkable period of design reform, featuring examples from his personal collection of c. 1900 furniture and decorative arts. Pieces from Lawrence's collection were showcased in the 2015 Frye Art Museum’s exhibition "1900: Adornment for the Home and the Body", and in the 2020 Cascadia Art Museum exhibition, "Northwest Collects". It will be a fascinating presentation!

Join Cascadia Ambassador Kelly for a public tour of ZOE DUSANNE: The Art of Seeing this Saturday, 09/26 at 2:00 p.m!

Kelly will discuss the life and career of Seattle's groundbreaking Modern Art gallerist Zoe Dusanne (1884-1972) while taking a closer look at works by John Matsudaira, Kenjiro Nomura, Paul Horiuchi, George Tsutakawa, Virginia Banks and Beulah Hyde.

The tour is free to attend with your purchase of admission.
