Our wonderful customer, Amy is modeling her "Jean Tee" from Kolibri by Johanna.
She knit it in Malabrigo sock yarn for a lovely lightweight short sleeved sweater.

We will be hosting another day of Kid's Classes taught by Teresa Waldo on Saturday September 26th!!
Beginning Knitting for Kids will be held 10am - 1pm and Beginning Crochet for Kids will be held 2pm - 5pm. If you know someone aged 8 - 16 who is interested in learning knitting or crochet, this is the class for them. There's only a few spots left in each class so register now to reserve your spot.

Our lovely customer, Algerae just completed her FIRST SWEATER!!!
She won Yarn Chicken by only 3 feet (1 yard) of yarn!!!

It's getting to be the fun crafty time of year!!!

It's time for embelllishments - and you don't have to dig out the bedazzler from the back of the closet! We have some great carry alongs to dress-up any project - all from Universal Yarns.
Metallic No 40 is a metallic thread that will add allover sparkle to your creations.
Hate adding beads to your knitting/crochet but love the look? Try Make it Perlchen - it already has the beads attached and you don't have to pre-string or stop every few stitches to add them.
For sparkle with a little whimsy try out Make it Blumchen. It adds sequins - flower shaped sequins - to your fiber arts and you don't have to fiddle with individual tiny sequins. We dsicovered that a couple of the colorways have UV reactive sequins that glow under the blacklight - ask to see it in person when you stop by!
