Y'all asked for it... so here it is!
After Sunday's Honey Recipe Reel, quite a few of you asked for the written recipe you could save or print.
𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴!
Ingredients
Crust
• 12 to 15 whole graham crackers
• 1 cup sliced almonds, divided
• 1 stick melted butter
• 1/4 tsp salt
Filling
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
• 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding
• 1 1/2 cups cold milk
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
• 1/4 tsp salt
We usually skip the Cool Whip and make our own honey cinnamon whipped cream instead.
Honey Cinnamon Whipped Cream
• 2 cups heavy whipping cream
• 1/2 to 1 tbsp cinnamon or to taste
• Honey to taste
Whip until stiff peaks form, then fold in the cinnamon and honey.
Directions
•Blend the graham crackers, half the almonds, salt and melted butter until the mixture resembles wet sand
•Press firmly into an 8x8-inch pan.
•Beat together the cream cheese, honey, 3/4 cup milk and salt until smooth.
•Whisk in the remaining milk and vanilla pudding. Let thicken for about 5 minutes.
•Fold in half of whipped topping
•Spread mixture over the crust.
•Top with the remaining whipped cream.
•Refrigerate at least 4 hours, overnight is even better.
•Sprinkle with the remaining almonds and drizzle with honey before serving.
That's it.
Easy, creamy, and a great way to use local honey.
We like blueberries on top, but fresh strawberries, raspberries or blackberries are all delicious too.
Try it with different puddings. We like Banana, lemon and chocolate.
