Meet our Summer Camp Assistant Director, Madison Cartmill! She is thrilled to be apart of EYT’s community this summer! She is currently a JBU student studying performing arts and psychology based in the OKC metro and NWA areas. Madison has been involved in theater for 16 years and loves getting to work with such kind and cool people. Some recent credits include Wednesday Addams (Addams Family), Nikki (Curtains), Mamma Murphy (Bright Star), Light Designing Twelfth Night, and Assistant Stage Managing Fly By Night. Madison is a NATS national qualifier and Irene Ryan nominee, and is excited to get to assistant direct both Constellations (dir. Tanner Zank) and Shrek (Kismet Arts OKC) this summer!
Outside of theater, she is a big fan of Jesus, art festivals, writing music, BRAUMS FRIES, and hanging out with friends.

EYT needs your help!!🫵🎤 We’ve been renting microphones for our performances but this has become a burden as each show goes by. Having our own wireless mic system would ensure that audiences can be fully immersed in every story that our students tell.

The type of mic system required to support shows our size can range from $6k-10k, so raising $5k this summer would help ensure that our Fall productions will have excellent sound quality and give a better experience to our students.

“Role swap” is a tradition and might be one of the kids’ favorite parts of the rehearsal process.😂 This is a pretty solid example of what class is like most weeks though.
