🐾 Goodnight from Baxter🐾

Whew… what a weekend, friends!

Thank you to everyone who came to The Studio this weekend. There was cropping, crafting, book club discussions, laughter, snacks, projects, and lots of happy creative chaos. Mom says that’s what makes a good Studio weekend.

A lot happened behind the scenes, too, and I’m pretty sure everyone is a little tired—including me.

So tonight, I’m clocking out, claiming the biggest spot on the bed, and catching up on some very important beauty sleep. A Studio Dog has responsibilities, you know. Someone has to supervise all those crops, greet the humans, and make sure no snacks are left unattended.

Thank you for spending your weekend with us. Seeing The Studio full of creativity and friendship makes my tail wag… well, if I had one. 😆

Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a pillow appointment and a strict no-disturbing-the-dog policy.

✨ This Week at The Studio ✨

It’s a week filled with creativity, community, and a little Route 66 excitement!

🛣️ Wednesday – Join us as we create banners and signs to welcome the Route 66 Centennial Caravan as it rolls through Edmond. Drop in during Open Studio and help us show some hometown pride!

📖 Bible Journaling meets Wednesday afternoon and again Saturday morning as we spend time in God’s Word and create together.

🚗 Thursday Morning – Meet us at The Blue Hippo at 8:45am to cheer on the Route 66 Caravan as it passes through town. Bring your signs, your smiles, and your camera!

🎨 Open Studio is available Thursday and Friday for whatever project is calling your name.

🖋️ Friday Night – The OKC Pen Club returns! Whether you’re a seasoned fountain pen enthusiast or just curious, everyone is welcome.

A Slow Sunday Kind of Magic ✨

This afternoon was the kind of afternoon we love at The Studio.

Some of our croppers were putting the finishing touches on projects they’ve been working on all weekend, while our Book Club gathered around the table to discuss this month’s selections: Hello Beautiful and All the Missing Pieces. There was plenty of conversation, laughter, creativity, and community happening all at once.

These quieter moments are a reminder that creativity isn’t always about finishing something big—it’s also about slowing down, connecting with others, and enjoying the process.

Sometimes the best projects at a crop weekend aren’t made with paper, glue, and ink. 💙

They’re made through shared stories, laughter, encouragement, and friendships that grow around the table.

Watching friends catch up, swap ideas, celebrate victories, and support each other through life’s ups and downs is one of my favorite parts of hosting crop weekends. The creativity is wonderful, but the community is what makes it special.

🐾 Baxter here…

I hate to worry my friends, but it’s been a bit of a rough week.

I managed to injure my paw and had to make an unexpected trip to the emergency vet. The nice people there took great care of me, and now I’m on the mend.

The good news? I’m back at The Studio today!

I’m taking things a little slower than usual, but I’m ready for visitors, ear scratches, belly rubs, and all the love my Studio friends can spare.

If you’re stopping by today, please come say hello. I promise to do my best supervisory work from a comfortable spot while I recover.

Thank you to everyone who always takes such good care of me. I sure do love my Studio family.
