Dragon Fire burns with shadowy, brilliant flames while Draco emerges, breathing infernos into the night sky. Paired with the deepest Onyx, the feeling of this trio is dark, smoky and ancient.

These dragon fades were created to pair with Alexandra Davidoff’s Dragon Scale KAL beginning June 21st, where fades come together to create breathtaking scale-like textures.

One of our favorite things about these patterns is how creative you can get with beads and yarn pairings. There are so many ways to make your dragon uniquely your own.

🐉 Welcome to The Dragon Collection 🐉

For the next 12 days, we’ll be stepping into a world of dragons, ancient magic, shimmering scales, glowing embers, icy wings, hidden treasures, and mystical fades inspired by fantasy realms near and far.

This collection was created in conjunction with Alexandra Davidoff’s Dragon Scale Knit-Along beginning June 21, featuring her stunning dragon-inspired shawl patterns including the I Am Dragon series, and also in conjunction with the release of season 3 of House of Dragons! Alexandra’s patterns use 2 and 3 skein fade sets to create beautiful transitions of color and texture that look just like layered dragon scales.

Our Dragon Collection is filled with rich jewel tones, shadowy neutrals, fiery depths, icy hues, iridescent skies, and earthy mountain treasures. Each fade tells its own story.

Today’s fade features Onyx, Sealskin, and Moss alongside the I Am Dragon III Remix Shawl by Alexandra Davidoff. Deep black fades into rich green for an ancient forest dragon feel 🐉

And don’t forget the beads! Alexandra’s Dragon Scale patterns feature beaded details, and we have beads available on the website so you can create your own magical pairing combinations.
