Threads Retreats in Murfreesboro, TN. This retreat is situated on a 2.5 acre lot which is in a quiet safe neighborhood. It’s also convenient to I-24 with several quilt and fabric shops nearby. Restaurants, Catering and Grocery stores are all within 3 miles as well. Threads Retreats provides a casual and intimate space for mothers, daughters, friends and colleagues to gather to learn how to sew, quilt, and embroider, or craft at any level. With four bedrooms (sleeps up to 12), full kitchen, outdoor patio, and relaxing social areas the home is an sewing enthusiasts dream facility. Lyvonn Reese attended a handful of quilting retreats over the years, and while she always had a great time she would come home from the getaways more exhausted than before she’d left.

She and her girlfriends would haul tables, irons, ironing boards, and lighting for just a weekend trip. Although she loved the time with friends, she started daydreaming about creating her own retreat where guests could simply show up and enjoy a weekend of sewing and quilting in a quaint and whimsical home.

Now, over two years later, Lyvonn has two retreat centers with everything a quilter could ask for. With one in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and the other on the beach in Edisto, South Carolina, Lyvonn loves sharing her dream come true with women across the country.

Lyvonn lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee with her husband. She has four children and two grand-baby's. She loves family, traveling, and of course.... quilting!
