Join us at the Edisto Beach Civic Center for an exclusive First Glimpse evening featuring a champagne reception and the newest works inspired by the beauty, character, and spirit of Edisto.

We welcome the general public to view and purchase paintings on Saturday, October 17th from 10am-2pm.

The Edisto Island Open Land Trust is proud to partner with Preserving A Picturesque America PAPA for an exciting new exhibition, Preserving Edisto Through the Power of the Arts at Bailey House at Store Creek Corner!

Join us on Friday, August 21 from 4-7 PM for our opening reception and stop by to enjoy the exhibition from August 21-29 from 10 AM - 5 PM daily.

Local SC artists have been at work for months, capturing the natural beauty of this historic property to benefit the mission of EIOLT in protecting this muse that has inspired generations of artists.

In 2024, Preserving a Picturesque America (PAPA) had a celebrated exhibition in Charleston with modern interpretations of artwork created in the 1800s. To follow up on its success, this exciting show in Edisto will feature NEW locations also considered picturesque and in need of preservation. It is a continuation of PAPA’s mission to create collectible artwork that helps bring awareness and protection for significant places in South Carolina.

VENUE change!! Due to the extreme heat and unpredictable pop up storms we are moving tonight's concert with Prettier Than Matt to the Edisto Beach Civic Center at 42 Station Ct. Edisto Island. While we absolutely LOVE the Bay Creek Park venue, we want to keep our patrons and volunteers safe from the heat. If you were fortunate enough to get a Marsh Hen Mill kazoo at the last concert... be sure to bring it with you tonight for a special performance!

Our July concert will feature Prettier Than Matt. The duo of Jessica and Jeff have crafted their own story-telling abilities with creative melodies in their own version of Americana Pop. Their song, Washed In the Tide, was inspired by C Hope Clark’s Edisto novels.
