🐝💔 When the bees are gone, so is our future.
No bees. No pollination. No food. 🌻🌍
Every bee matters. Every flower matters. Every action matters.
🌱 Protect pollinators. Protect nature. Protect our future. 🐝💛

Maybe wildlife isn’t always the problem. Maybe we’ve forgotten how much of their habitat we’ve changed.

A deer eating your garden plants can feel like a nuisance.
A fox crossing your yard can seem out of place.
A raccoon rummaging through your trash can leave a mess.

But consider the bigger picture.

We clear forests for roads and houses.
We replace native vegetation with lawns.
We build neighborhoods across the routes animals use to find food, shelter, and mates.
Sometimes, we leave food and garbage within easy reach.

Then we’re surprised when wildlife makes use of what’s available.

Not every animal visiting a neighborhood has been driven from somewhere else. Some species adapt well to suburban life, where gardens, shelter, and easy meals can help them thrive.

Still, our choices help shape these encounters.

That doesn’t mean ignoring damage or safety concerns. Boundaries matter. Protect gardens with suitable fencing. Secure trash. Bring pet food indoors. Give wild animals space rather than encouraging them to approach.

We can protect our homes while remembering that the land around them is habitat, too.

So perhaps the question shouldn’t always be:

“Why are they coming into our space?”

Sometimes, we also need to ask:

“How much of their space did we build over?”
