**Today’s Garden Task: Learning to Store the Harvest 🌿🥕**

Today’s task: practice storing my harvest of herbs and vegetables.

I’ve been guilty of letting abundance go to waste simply because I had consumed enough and there was no one else around to share it with. But I’m learning that abundance comes with responsibility.

By learning how to properly store, preserve, dry, freeze, and otherwise care for what the garden produces, I can extend the life of the harvest—whether for my own use during the winter months or to have something to gift to someone else.

Instead of allowing abundance to become waste, I’m practicing becoming a better steward of God’s gifts. 🌱

There is something beautiful about learning not only how to grow, but also how to **gather, preserve, share, and steward well.**

**Less waste. More gratitude. Better stewardship.** 🙏🏽🌿

💭 THE SAME MOMENT. TWO DIFFERENT MEMORIES.

A parent may not remember a comment they made 30 years ago.

Their child never forgot it.

🧠 Research shows that negative experiences often stay with us longer than positive ones. What felt like an ordinary moment to a parent may have become a defining memory for a child.

😮 Often genuinely surprised

✨ Both experiences can be true.

❤️ The pain is real.
🗣️ The intention may have been different.
🤝 Understanding can begin when we stop arguing about whose memory is correct and start listening to why it mattered.

🌱 Family healing often starts with:
✔️ Validation
✔️ Compassion
✔️ Honest conversations
✔️ Grace for imperfect people

Sometimes the moments we carry for decades are moments someone else forgot by dinner.

A Word of Comfort and Hope from my heart to yours... 🙏🏾💙

In this season of grief, when your heart feels heavy and the days seem harder to face, may you be reminded that Christ cares deeply for you. He sees every tear, hears every unspoken prayer, and holds every hurting place in His hands.

Though the pain of losing someone you love is real, so is the promise of God’s nearness. Draw closer to Him, even if all you can offer is a whisper or a sigh. He invites you to rest in His presence, and He will be your comfort, your guide, and your strength.

May His peace surround you, His love uphold you, and His grace carry you moment by moment. You are not walking this valley alone—the Lord is with you, and He will not forsake you.
