Zumba Fitness at the Eye is participating in the Edison Chicken Parade this year, Sunday, February 26 at high noon. If salsa-ing down the main street of Edison is something you have always wanted to do, come join us. We are dancing to the chicken salsa, “Kun Kin.”

Reflecting on 2020, a roller coaster year of ups and downs. A high point was the Edison Chicken Parade in February. Look at all those people crowded together in the picture below! Little did we know at that time what was in store for us. Then bam we were shut down. During the shutdown, the Zumba studio received a long overdue overhaul: new windows, new woodwork and HEAT/AIR CONDITIONING! As the weather warmed, we started gathering outdoors at a distance for Zumba on the Deck. Fall came, the COVID numbers in Skagit County were low and we felt safe enough to dance inside with a limited number of participants. And then we didn’t. Shut down again! It was great to have a couple of months in our refurbished studio and I am so looking forward to a time when I can welcome all of you back. Happy New Year to all! Keep those fingers crossed. Hopefully, we will be dancing together again soon.
