Hey fam 👋🏼 it’s been a while.

I decided to take this season off from vending in person to enjoy my favorite time of year. 🎃

My latest show at the Trenton punk rock flea market was so much fun and I was happy to sell some of my brand new items like stickers and keychains! I’m definitely going to miss vending at the next one.

I’ve been practicing self love a little bit more every day & honestly I’m thriving! 😍

One of my morning affirmations is:
I release all doubts & insecurities about myself.

Telling myself this makes a HUGE difference in my day. Our thoughts become what we know in the world. So when I feed myself the positivity instead of negativity, I’m keeping my happiness on track!

If you’ve forgotten what my face looks like - hey! I’m Megan 👋🏼

I take s**t from no one & I’m not afraid to say what we’re all thinking. 👀

But I wasn’t always that way!

A year of therapy changed my life more than getting my bachelors in psych did! (Shoutout to my old therapist Karen 😘)

Since my day job isn’t in the field, I took to spreading mental health awareness by creating things that I think are pretty f**king rad.

I refuse to stay silent about the importance of mental health, human rights, & being upfront.

Together we can end the stigma & create a better world for ourselves and those we love.

Thanks for being on this journey with me! I can’t wait to paint some more cool s**t that I’m passionate about🤘🏼

I’m full of sadness hearing about the latest mass shooting that took the lives of so many innocent children & forever changed the lives of their families yesterday.

I am blessed to never have endured such a tragedy in my inner circle, so I cannot even BEGIN to imagine what this is like for these poor families. 😭

I’ve never understood how being a kind person is so difficult for some… Just be f**king human and love each other.

Just why.

Just found out the health insurance I was dying to get isn’t going to pay for any therapy until I pay over $2500. 🤬

I’m not sure why it isn’t considered preventative care.

Mental health is 𝓯𝓾𝓬𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 health. 🌈

I’m not going sit here and just accept “that’s how the world works” and “life isnt fair” to brush this issue under the rug.

Mental health services need to be affordable and accessible while still providing licensed professionals a living wage.

I’m going to do my best to find a solution for this ever growing problem. Because here I am, a person with a full time job, a side hustle, a great money saver, renting a small condo, and I can’t justify dropping 5k on my mental health.

So what about the people that don’t have all that I do? There’s no f**king way they could get help. And that’s heartbreaking to me.

Honestly sometimes all I can say is f**k this place 🌎

Put yourself first because the only person you gotta deal with the rest of your life - is you. 💕

Self love is so important.

While I’ve been working myself to bone in order to prep for this market tomorrow ( 😘 ) I’ve been neglecting some of my self care routines like exercising.

Although Im sad I haven’t been able to work out physically, I’m so proud of the time I’ve put in painting and growing mentally this month. And that is another way I give myself love 🥰
