Tonn of fun wants to thank everyone who ventured out in these conditions this evening. You would know on our closing evening, that we would have complications. Due to all this rain, and wet extension cords, we blew some breakers. We apologize that some of the lights were not running this evening. No one can determine the weather and none of us were anticipating a spring like December. We rolled with the punches and made the best of the unusual weather this year. There is always going to be obstacles in ones way, so you either learn how to dodge them or throw in the towel. I'm glad we hung in there! Thanks again for all your support! God bless and wishing all of you a happy new year!

Karl and I want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy our Christmas event this year. We always appreciate the support and kind words from the community . We have held off mentioning anything until now about some changes we will be making in 2016. It takes a lot time and devotion to prepare for these events. We find ourselves juggling to much at times, from traveling with the businesses and preparing to open for an event at our place at the same time. This leaves very little time for family and friends. The kids are growing up before our eyes, these are moments we can't get back. So we have made a decision to cut back on our events at Tonn of fun. Just to clarify, so I don't send any of our clients into a panic attack, we will still be traveling as usual. This is strictly concerning our events at our place. Again we can not thank all of you enough for you support, we do everything in our power to make our clients happy. We just need to step back, regroup and figure out a way to balance everything. Tonn of fun is wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and happy 2016!

Tonn of fun will be open from 5 to 9 on Christmas Eve. There is little for families to do on Christmas Eve, and so many people have family home for a the holidays and others have a tradition of driving around on Christmas Eve looking at lights. This December weather has been one of the strangest on the books, and all this rain can be depressing and bring people's spirits down. No one wants to be depressed especially this close to Christmas. I'm happy to say the forecast for Christmas Eve is suppose to be clear with nice temperatures. So if your looking to make some memories with family, we are the place to visit. My children are no longer toddlers, but I remember when they were Christmas Eve could be hectic for me, for I was trying to wrap up all the lose ends while they were underfoot. If you are that mother that still has a never ending list to accomplish, we have a suggestion, send dad down to Tonn of fun with the kiddos. It's a win-win, you get free time to finish what needs done, and dad tires the kids out, so their ready for bed when they get home, and after a visit to Tonn of fun they are sure to dream about the magic of Christmas. If you are one of those lucky mothers that got a jump start on your list and have everything wrapped up and ready go, then join dad and the kids for a night out at Tonn of fun. Merry Christmas from the Tonn of fun team!

Well I'm happy to say the kids made it through their first night running the business on their own. I wasn't there to witness what went on, but I do know they were gloating with pride when we pulled in. They couldn't wait to tell us their profit for the evening. They were so happy. They didn't think that they would get many to show up, since I made it known that they were the ones running it. I will be honest, I can be a control freak, especially when it comes to our business. I told the kids several times, it has taken us seven years to build this business up, your actions this evening could make or break us. We have raised you to be responsible, but this is your chance to show us what you are capable of when we are not around to supervise. Karl said they make me very proud, I have second that, for they are sixteen, fourteen, twelve and nine years old. When so many kids their age are making plans to enjoy their Christmas vacation, they were making plans on how they were going to tweak and run this business. I want Thank all of you who came out to support these kids, for you made their night! Karl and I got done earlier than expected with our obligations, my first thought was let's get home fast so we can check on the kids in case they need help, but he wouldn't allow that to happen. Instead he insisted we go get something to eat and leave it in their hands, and I'm glad I listen to him. The kids will be running the petting zoo, lights and train ride again tomorrow evening while we are gone from 5 to 9, be sure to bring your families out to enjoy the last Night we are open before Christmas. For those of you that did not see our post the other day, kong our camel is rented out for a nativity scene in Tennessee by a friend of ours. So he will not be in the petting zoo this next week. We have replaced him with Georgia, my oldest daughters horse. Georgia is a Full grown paint horse, that is so laid-back that any child could ride her. The kids are hoping to come up with enough help to offer horse rides tomorrow evening if weather permits. I have spoke about my children a lot in the status, for they make us very proud, but there were other kids involved this evening, that help pull this off. The great thing about being young, is having dedicated friendships. My kids called in some of their friends to help this evening, and the fact that they were able to get extra help from their friends convinces me they are going to go far in the business world. Thank you Montana, Maci, Madi, Maci, Logan, Garrett and Brayden Kuhns! You have all won our trust!

The kids have decided to open from 5 to 9 tomorrow evening and Wednesday evening. I have left it in their hands to decide what they want to open. As of now they have recruited enough help to run the lights, petting zoo and train rides. They have yet to decide if they will inflate the bounce houses. It is suppose to be nice tomorrow evening so they are going to do their best to come up with help to run the bounce houses. I will update any new information to come.

We have been contacted from a few families that were wondering if we were open this week. They have family coming home and would like to visit before Christmas. Unfortunately Karl and I have other obligations. Our kids overheard us talking and volunteered to run the petting zoo and lights for us this week.At first I was a little uneasy of the idea, but after thinking it over I changed my mind. Our kids are as big of part of this business as we are. They have sacrificed their time to help prepare for this event. They know a much about these animals as we do. My thoughts were why not let them have their chance at running it. I feel kids can not learn responsibility if they are not given the chance. Karl and I have decided to allow them to open up this week. I will update the dates and hours they plan to open soon. If you would like to visit us this week, let us know what days would work out for your family. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas from the Tonn of fun team!

One of my elves came to me this evening and said she was approach by the sweetest couple talking to her about a Christmas event they used to go to back in the 60's and 70's. My elf couldn't remember the name of it when I asked her if it was in Ingraham? She said YES that was it and the lady said she couldn't believe how much this reminded her of that, and that her and her husband really enjoyed it. To say we are flattered is a understatement. To have her and husband give us such a complement made our evening complete.

This evening while helping Karl in the petting zoo, a family walked in and their little girl was so excited. She kept saying over and over " they have a pig! I have never seen a pig!" Karl turned to me and smiled with the biggest smile and said that is the kind of stuff that makes me smile from ear to ear. I said why? He responded with that little girl had never seen a pig and we made that happen for her. It dawned on me how many kids never get a chance to get close to farm animals. I always thought our main attraction was petting a zebra at Tonn of fun, but for some young kids it is a dream of theirs to touch the everyday farm animal that we take for granite. Knowing we helped make that dream come true warms our hearts. Merry Christmas from the Tonn of fun team!
