We build Rodeo kit from scratch with premium Italian fabrics, and we constantly evolve and improve our pattern designs to make the most comfortable long distance cycling garments that we know how. We don’t white label, we do it the hard way and work to get the details right, because we’re cyclists too, and we want to ride in gear that works!

We create small batches of our clothing, so certain sizes and styles can sell out fairly quickly. This is our first major summer kit refresh in over a year.

A lot of people have been DMing and asking: Are we going to be at Unbound this year? It’s worth a quick note here to respond. No, we aren’t loading the whole company into the van and doing the whole expo / race on this lap around the sun. We’ve been die hard Unbound fans since our first go in 2015, which was the infamous Mud Year. We’ve loved it ever since. It’s grown up a lot since then, and is arguably the most important event to attend in the gravel world at this point. So, what business does a bike business have with skipping a year? In a way, it’s an unthinkable thing to do! That said, we aren’t sitting this one out for any big reason, we just have some on years and some off years. It’s important to mix up the schedule and keep things fresh so that we stay inspired by variety. Sometimes it’s good just to step back and watch the incredible spectacle of it all and use it as an opportunity to reflect on the state of gravel and big events. It’s also good to get some fomo and use that to inspire the next time we go. But even if Rodeo THE COMPANY won’t be there this year, Rodeo THE COMMUNITY is definitely at Unbound this year in force. We know this from all the notes, tags, pics, and messages we’ve seen in the last month. Honestly you being there and representing Rodeo the community of passionate riders fills us with so much pride. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see.

To everyone riding, we wish you an absolutely filthy, mud covered go at it, but not so much mud that your wheels don’t turn! 😂. If it’s fast go for those PRs! If it’s slow and epic, just take each step and pedal stroke at a time. If you feel like you can’t go on, pull over and regroup. The highs and lows are inevitable, and they both pass. Despite what the industry wants you believe, Unbound is not about the bike, it’s about your mindset. If three singlespeed beach cruisers can make it, most any other bike can too. You’ve got this!

We’ll be watching from afar and looking forward to the next time we can share a race day wheel with y’all. Bring home some epic stories! 🙌💛

Is a Rodeo without big logos still a Rodeo? You know it is! We actually used to deboss “RODEO” into our frames and rims because few people would believe that a small upstart brand would design their carbon frames / forks / rims from scratch. We’ve been in the game long enough now that we’ve erased most of that doubt, so if you want a Stealth Donkey with no logos, we can do that too. But, if you look close, the Donkey is in the details. We can’t resist signing our work!

Happy Eric! Your restrained vision for this one makes it stand out in a unique way. 🙌

The new deeper and wider Rodeo 3.0R wheels are live. Few things about the performance and feel of your bike that are more impactful than the wheels that you run on it, and there are few things in cycling more over-hyped than wheels. With that in mind, let’s dig in to the new R variants: We invite you to swipe through this sometimes-scientific exposition of their virtues.

We’re so so SO excited to announce that our brand new website is LIVE! One of our favorite new parts of the site is the re launch of our Global Member Map, something we first started when Rodeo was a young cycling team and community in 2014.

https://rodeo-labs.com/member-map/

Back then we didn’t sell bikes, we just rode together, experimented, and built a diffuse community around the world. We would LOVE it if you wanted to add yourself to the map. We’ve been beta testing it for about a week and it’s working great. You do have to make a login to use it, but we won’t use any of your data to email you or sell you anything. The map is for Rodeo people to get stoked on and meet other Rodeo people in their area or in their travels. No exact location data is shared, but you can add socials to let people message you or to message other people if you want to. Or, you can just add an anonymous pin to the map. We are quite somply proud of our community of riders and want to celebrate that. Find the map on our homepage at rodeo-labs.com, and have a look around if you like. Pardon our dust, we are still building in the background! 🫶🏻

Our new website is a top to bottom rebuild that’s faster, easier to use, and more informative. We worked with the incredible team at and their special concierge team on this epic project, and they expertly created new user experiences to help simplify the especially complex process of shopping for and configuring a custom bike.

We’re also adding features like geo coordinates on key images so that when you see something awesome and say “where is that?”, you’ll be able to find out with a click!

Other cool feature: You can randomly explore 12 years of Journal entries with a Surprise Me button. We’re all building a historical timeline on our about page that will show key moments of our history in digest form. Rodeo has been around the planet a few times, and we aim to make that clear!

If you find any bugs, please holler! A great website is a labor or love that is never complete. We’re rebuilding legacy product pages better and better as we go as well. We’re just getting started!

Gary asked for a soft camo appearance in a warm / adobe color palette, and the result is unlike any other layout that we’ve done. It must be said that the recycled / eco tread tan tires really tie the room together as well. We can’t even remember if we asked Gary if he’d like to try these tires, or if we just knew in our heart of hearts that it was the right move and did it on the down-low. Either way, the sum of greater than the part, and yet another very unique Traildonkey is loosed from the stable and into the wild.

Happy New Bike Day, Gary. Thanks for trusting us with your vision!

“I want a periwinkle base with vibrant green accents, including peekaboo stays and fork, and also a quote on the inside of the fork, oh and also did I mention cat paw prints and fish bones throughout? Also I want a Trail Cat logo”.

We’re not saying that’s a direct quote from Howard, but you get the idea. Howard, as far as we are concerned, you’re a design visionary, and we wish you the very happiest New Rodeo Day. 🙌🫶🏻

Some bikes shout, some whisper. Ryan’s TD4.2 starts with a dark grey base coat and adds a purple metallic pop with its subtle graphics. Turn the volume up, turn the volume down, the choice is yours.

Happy New Bike Day, Ryan!

When our product lead builds up a Rodeo for himself, we always know that it’s going to be full of juicy morsels. Drew is nothing if not obsessed with the details. Drew is also living that dad lyfe these days, which means that when it comes to this build, he says the theme is Wabi Sabi: The Japanese philosophy centering on the acceptance of, among other things, imperfection. Where are the imperfections? Your guess is as good as ours. All we see is that beautiful paint, the chainring, bars, titanium hubs, power pedals, Wove saddle, Mezcal 2.1” rubber, Doin cranks, XTR Di2 rear mech, and Ultegra Di2 shifter which Drew says gave a better hood shape than GRX.

If this bike is Drew’s version of imperfection, we can’t imagine what perfect looks like!

There’s nothing slower than the Rodeo Labs website. If you’ve ever used it, you know how it is. Well, after 12 years of that, we’re weeks away from launching a top to bottom brand new site. It’ll be lightning fast, easy to navigate, easy to find the info you need, easy to configure bikes, easier to find other Rodeo riders, easier to find good stories, and more. In the meantime, here’s the new 404 page, which we’re very proud of. 🤍

The Laid Back Lockjaw 2 slider is now available for TD4.2 owners. What does it do? The longer slider moves your rear wheel back 1cm, which matches the Flaanimal 6 chainstay length and opens up more tire and mud clearance in your frame. Max clearance goes up to 2.4”, which not many people need, but PLENTY OF YOU are running 2.25” tires, and the is slider will give you more mud safety margin at that size (or any size, really).

Not every TD4.2 rider needs this hardware, but those pushing the limits will benefit from it.

TD4.0 can’t be upgraded with this slider because of the totally different dropout design. If it were possible to adapt, you know we’d do it!

Flaanimal 6 Ti or steel don’t need this slider as they already have this tire / mud clearance capability with the standard slider.
