Class at Seaside today. Creating different ways to use a Jelly Roll.

Today was race day at Seaside. The Daytona 500 doesn’t compare to my ladies doing a Jelly Roll Race. This year we had 6 racing and the mother daughter team of Linda and Jaimie came in first and second. I forgot to take a video of the race but here’s the pictures.

The ladies finished their Pizza Box Challenge! Today was lunch and the reveal and what lovely blocks, now on to the next challenges. Thanks for participating. We loved Jaime’s even though skulls are not for everyone!

Seasides annual Christmas party with the Sit And Sewers. Such great friends gathering. Also new rule-if the present had a bow they have to wear it lots of good food and presents but not a lot of naughty stealing of presents!

We had a great retreat but had to come home. Thanks to all the ladies that attended and got lots of sewing and shopping accomplished!

Heading home tomorrow from Koosa Mountain Retreat. Lots of wonderful stories, creativity and friendships. Of course eating, shopping and wine was involved too. Back to reality and work next week, see you soon.

Card Trick class today. Jaimie calls her block “Murder at the Quilt Shop”! Table runners, placemats and pillows happenings.

Saturday’s class finished their Criss Cross Apron. Next class is Saturday September 13th. We’re making a block called “card Stack” which cand make a great fall runner.
