Southern Wisconsin Concrete used their artistic talents and completed our colored and stained concrete ADA ramp that flows into a stamped walkway, with what looks like actual "railroad ties" embedded into the concrete. The creekside buff and walnut tones accent the building just as we'd imagined.
Now for some railing and steel staircases coming next!

Busy busy busy! We are here at The Dickinson staying busy! Look at this incredible ADA accessible ramp and stairs we got done this wee! More concrete coming Friday and Saturday morning, because apparently "rest" isn't in our vocabulary!
We're not stopping until the party starts! Honk,wave and say hi if you see us working — not just because we've got our shirts off (though we won't stop you from admiring the craftsmanship either way 😏).

When its 100 degrees outside, SWC goes inside where its a cool 99! Big strides are being made! Floor drains were inspected in the morning and poured in the afternoon!

Project complete!
Opening the road a day early is a testament to what can be achieved with hard work and great partnerships. We're extremely thankful to Southern Wisconsin Concrete and their affiliates for their speedy and excellent work on our new fire safety main and sewer.

The Dickinson's getting a major organ transplant with significant upgrades featuring a brand new 4" water main, 6" sewer, and 600 amp power infrastructure for limitless growth.

We are pleased to announce that our construction project is progressing as planned. With the footings now poured, we will be able to initiate wall construction shortly.

The Dickinson Hall's opening hinges on our resourcefulness and team's deal-making abilities. As we discovered Porta Bellas' closure, we found some things that will go nicely when 2027 rolls around.

Dust and grime accumulated over 140 years are being removed. The office walls and 3"×12"-12" on center, original to 1885, are being restored. By sanding and sweeping off the old layers, we are preserving the past. Although the process is slow, progress is evident.
