Edgerton Pottery & Art Festival

A hands-on pottery and art festival! Held in Edgerton, Wisconsin to celebrate and promote the history of clay and pottery in our community.

Edgerton has a long heritage of pottery and ceramics due to the natural clay abundant in the earth in this area. The Edgerton Pottery & Art Festival will feature demonstrations of throwing pots on a wheel as well as opportunities for attendees to try wheel throwing, hand building with clay, paint-a-pot activities and mixing clay with your feet Pottery vendors and food will also be on site.

It’s almost clay day! Come out to Silverwood Park from 10-2 this Saturday (8/22/26) to create with clay. This year’s festival features hand-building techniques and terra cotta clay. Fun and educational for all ages!

The tent is going up for this Saturday’s Edgerton Pottery Festival! Time: 10-2. For a nominal fee, participants will have an opportunity to create a handbuilt project or two. Take in the Silverwood Harvest Festival while you’re at the park, too!

Four of us got together this afternoon to roll slabs of clay for next Saturday’s Edgerton Clay Festival at Silverwood Park. This year’s focus will be on slab projects only (sorry, wheel lovers!).

Time: 10 AM to 2 PM. The cutoff for starting projects is 1:30 PM, so plan accordingly.

We are only a few weeks away from this year's Edgerton Pottery Festival and need your help!

Date: Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, held in conjunction with the Silverwood Harvest Festival
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Location: Silverwood Park, a Dane County Park east of Albion

There are tasks for both experienced potters and folks with no clay experience whatsoever.

Depending on the volunteer schedule (2 hour slots for most), you may be able to take in a Harvest Festival demonstration, too. Local produce will be available for purchase, much of it grown on the premises.
