The tent is going up for this Saturday’s Edgerton Pottery Festival! Time: 10-2. For a nominal fee, participants will have an opportunity to create a handbuilt project or two. Take in the Silverwood Harvest Festival while you’re at the park, too!

Well… it’s an almost. Doug hoped to fire the gas kiln this week and bring many new pieces (only a few are shown here) to this weekend’s Tallman Arts Festival. Unfortunately, the old plumbing is on the fritz. We’ll still be at the TAF though. We’d live to see you there!

Hopefully the kiln will be repaired in time for our home show Labor Day weekend, or we’ll fire these elsewhere.

We are only a few weeks away from this year's Edgerton Pottery Festival and need your help!

Date: Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, held in conjunction with the Silverwood Harvest Festival

There are tasks for both experienced potters and folks with no clay experience whatsoever.

Depending on the volunteer schedule (2 hour slots for most), you may be able to take in a Harvest Festival demonstration, too. Local produce will be available for purchase, much of it grown on the premises.

One of our favorite events. See you there!

First held almost 70 years ago, the Tallman Arts Festival is a highlight of the summer, drawing artists of all kinds and visitors of all ages to the beautiful Rock County Historical Society and Lincoln-Tallman House grounds on August 1 & 2. Spend the weekend shopping unique works of art while enjoying live music, delicious food, and exhibits!
