For me, art is a powerful healing and calming tool. It gives our mind a break while we focus on the brush strokes. Even if you’ve never painted before, you will be surprised at what you can create, and how much stress you relieve while doing it. It’s really hard to worry about what to cook for dinner when you’re focused on the next straight line you’re going to paint. I will fully guide you through, and you will leave pleasantly surprised.

J&J Paint Parties was never just about painting.

It was born from grief, healing, and learning how to find joy again.

After losing my husband, creativity became one of the places I could turn to when life felt incredibly heavy. Painting gave me an outlet, but somewhere along the way, I lost a little of that creative spark.

Then I met Joel. He encouraged me to pick up my brushes again, dream bigger, and reminded me how much joy creating brought into my life.

And slowly, J&J Paint Parties was born.

What started as something that helped me heal has grown into something we now get to share with others. A place to laugh, connect, create, and maybe forget about the heaviness of life for a little while.

Our mission is simple: promoting hope and healing through art and creative expression.

Sometimes beautiful things really can grow from the hardest chapters. 🌱🎨

We will have our paint party booth set up for kids (and adults!) to come paint a picture for a cancer patient.

All proceeds and paintings will benefit the MN Prostate Cancer Coalition. Donations are encouraged.

We will have all the painting supplies needed to create something that will hopefully bring joy to someone who is affected by cancer.
