Will it be next? Well, that's the question. The follow-up production to ''Jekyll/Hyde'' has to be quite special.
Over the past eight years, Artistic Directors, James and Chris Finn, have produced shows by financially putting all their own money into shows.
From ''Nosferatu'' through ''Jekyll/Hyde'', they have financed production costs on their own.
Thankfully, CVTG has allowed them access to a venue, as well as a costume shop and a prop department,.
That being said, the Artistic Directors have funneled their own money for various costumes, props, etc.etc.
Until there is grant money, what's really needed is someone to run lights and sound.
Volunteers are always appreciated, and we can't really move forward until we have someone we can rely on to run the technical side of the show.
''Jekyll/Hyde'' was an extreme ''learning curve'' for us, and the technical side was in disarray until our ''dress/tech'' week.
This can't happen anymore.
If anyone is interested in helping with that aspect of the production please message here on this page.

This was our first production that didn't come from an original script...
Pushing the envelope with the master, Eugene O'Neill, for an epic production of ''Long Day's Journey Into Night''.
Two Griffins staged this in April of 2025.
In the fall, we went back to an original production, with ''Jekyll/Hyde''.

8 years of madness. While we finalize decisions for our next productions, we'll be taking a walk down memory lane just to double check the originality of our shows.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of ''Jekyll/Hyde'' for winning ''Best Local Play'' (non-musical) in the Volume One readers poll.
Thank you to everyone that voted for us and our psychological thriller, ''Jekyll/Hyde''.
We are humbled by your support, and hopefully, our paths will meet again.

A word, or two, from the Artistic Directors:
Thank you to everyone who came out to see ''Jekyll/Hyde'' and who helped to support our theatre company.
Many of you know this was a difficult one for us. The drama should be onstage, not off.
The struggles we faced had nothing to do with our brilliant cast or crew.
As artists, we should all be in this together. The rally call should be for us all to unite in these strange times.
No one should stand in the way of a creative vision, and ''creative control'' should be a Director's only path.
Currently, we are working on separate projects with different organizations (Chris is directing ''The Grapes Of Wrath'' at North High School, and James is playing Scrooge for ECCT"s production of ''Scrooge: The Musical).
There are some issues that we need to work out in the months ahead.
During this time, writing will also start with the adaptation of ''Macbeth'', as well as any revisions that need to happen for ''Houdini''.
We'll also be looking at the possibility of another ''American classic'', and another original script.
Keep your eyes posted here for updates.
Thank you for your continued support.
