A man finds a goose that was shaking with cold stuck to a pole in Montana. As he got closer he realized, wrapped up in her wings, was a tiny puppy she was shielding from the freezing temperatures. We have so much to learn from the animals. Beautiful. (Both the goose and the puppy have recovered, were adopted together, and are doing well.)

Rue is enjoying a chill Sunday morning.

This 8-10 month old pit mix is great with other dogs, full of energy, and loves to run! She will require a fenced in yard in her future home.

She is potty trained, crate trained, and would do best with older kids (due to size and energy). She loves her toys and will need lots of sturdy chew toys in her future home.

Rue is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on preventions. She has been in rescue for over 3 months without one single application & we simply cannot understand why! This gal is STUNNING and will be an excellent dog for someone willing to help her continue to learn. She is already so smart & mastered sit and down after just a few hours!

Hi! I'm Nellie & this is my story.
I once had an owner that made me have babies. Lots & lots of Plott Hound babies. When they got tired of taking care of me, they dropped me off (with some babies) to a high traffic shelter. The shelter called Happy Feet and Happy Feet came to my rescue! I am so glad because I'm such a good doggo.
I know the word no. I love treats & toys. I get along with dogs both big & small (my foster home has both), and my foster home also calls this thing a dog, butttttt I'm pretty sure it's a cat. Yeah, it's a cat, and I like him too. I'd love a good play time & walks so I can sniff or a yard. I love cuddling, and my belly rubbed. I am believed to be potty trained as I sort of whimper when I need to go out, but you have to react fast. I am crate trained & would LOVE a furever family of my very home.
