In “Moon Over Buffalo,” a delightful and hilarious backstage farce by Ken Ludwig, we meet Charlotte and George Hay, a struggling acting duo on tour in Buffalo in 1953. Their repertoire features a quirky rendition of “Cyrano de Bergerac” and Noel Coward’s “Private Lives” As fate would have it, they have a golden opportunity to impress legendary director Frank Capra, who is on his way to catch their performance. However, the chaos unfolds as Charlotte contemplates escaping with their agent and George fights to stay sober enough to deliver his lines. With a whirlwind of hilarious misunderstandings and madcap adventures, this play celebrates the passions and predicaments of theater life, making it a heartfelt tribute to the dedicated “theater hams” everywhere.

Auditions will be held at The Grange on:
April 12th between 2:00 & 4:00 and April 13th between 6:30 & 9:30

Rehearsal starts April 15th-Wednesdays only to start.

Actors Theater of Orcas Island (ATOI) is excited to announce their first gala fundraiser- ORCAS SINGS B'WAY!- to be held at the Grange on Saturday, October 25th at 7pm. Please join us for the show of a lifetime as your friends and neighbors sing their hearts out performing their favorite Broadway songs! Who knew that the guy who built your deck has a great baritone voice or that the young woman who cleans your house has perfect comic timing?

We have more than 16 Orcas locals who have summoned up their courage to present songs from a variety of Broadway shows including "West Side Story", "Oklahoma", "Hamilton", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Wicked" and many more.

Some great Orcas cooks are planning refreshments for your enjoyment during the evening-including, yes, Paula's cookies-and generous Orcas donors are providing a selection of wines.

Tickets for the evening are $45. All funds go to support ATOI, the non-profit group whose mission is to enhance our island with performances, education, and community building.

What’s the Broadway song you like to sing in the shower? Is it a showstopper from Les Miz? A touching ballad from Fiddler on the Roof? A brilliant piece from Hamilton? Well, now you’ll have a chance to realize your dream … and perform it for the community!
On Saturday, October 25th, Actors Theater of Orcas Island (ATOI) will launch their first ever fundraiser – an evening of everyone’s favorite Broadway songs, performed at the Grange – for one night only – by Orcas’ amazing musical talent. You’re welcome to sing solo or organize a group. No age or gender requirements. If you’re a 75-year-old man who wants to sing I Feel Pretty – go for it!
So, are you one of 20 souls who’s ready to take the plunge?
Our search for talent will open Monday, August 11 and close Thursday, September 25.

Deathtrap is a 1978 American Play written by Ira Levin with multiple plot twists driving its play within a play story. It is in two acts with one set and five characters. It holds the record for the longest-running comedy-thriller on Broadway and was nominated for four Tony Awards including Best Play.
