The easy breezy evening in Venice..

I did this when I was in Italy back then studied aboard. I walked along the streets and smell the evening of this retro water city, so relaxing and filled with sparkles on the dancing water.
This painting was sold, but the idea of Venice, the dream of Italy continues…

This painting I did sometime ago, I really liked it.

I printed quite some postcards from it. The real painting is in China right now, was bought by a very generous client.

It was a summer afternoon in Tilden Park at Berkeley, California. I used to go for walks in there a lot with my girl, often times sitting next to the little creek and just enjoy the sunbeams and insects songs they composed. Miss those days, how tranquil it was, a peaceful heart in tranquility. Just like yesterday.

Today is another hot summer day, I’m at different part of the country, doing different things, reminiscing the good old days, looking forward the bright future ahead of me and be grateful for this moment sharing this with everyone of you. Happy Friday!

Haven’t been having time to be artsy lately but I’m still here. This was a quick drawing I did when I used to lived in Oakland, waiting for a friend to get haircut. We went to a very authentic barber shop and ask barber to gave my Chinese friend a haircut like Drake. Well, my friend did not look like Drake after all but we shake hands about the painting, they really liked it and hung it to the wall. Friend got a non drake haircut for free. Good memories!

Very excited how our photography space is coming along. Jade Wu is itching to get back in the studio and create content but we are taking intentional steps to solidify vanJade. I’m so proud to have a wonderful woman as my best friend, wife and now business partner.

It’s one thing to make great artistic creations but they are amplified by high quality images. Not saying we have a finished or top quality space, actually far from it, but on our shoe string budget and ingenuity it’s perfect for our business maturity level, and I’m DAMN proud of that fact.

Nearly completed building out our new studio addition, a dedicated space to photograph Jade Wu beautiful creations. The space will allow me to take clean, quality photos to start getting them set for print on demand and gallery on our website vanJade.com.

We also signed up for our first in-person vendor event (details to come but it’s early summer 6/13), hope you all will drop by and see us.

A lot of progress on our schedule and it will be substantial, we love filming, chatting and spending time together with you. Many platforms, many streams and focused content in tap. Something for everyone’s taste!

And yes, this is a 3am brag post because we are cracking right now!
