September's First Friday Gallery Walk will be packed with amazing opportunities to see unique art!
9S Studios will host an artist talk with Dara Lorenzo and her work in Internal Manifestations. A Baltimore-based multimedia artist, Dara currently exhibits her work nationally and internationally. She is also a Professor of Art, teaching at Towson University.
Local artist Anne Schaeffer returns to the Hummingbird Inn with a collection featuring both new and previous works. Her artwork will be displayed throughout the Charm Bar, with an extended gallery in the Hummingbird Inn Dining Room, giving visitors a chance to see an even larger selection of her work.
Spiralis Gallery will have an opening reception for their new exhibit Tides of Memory, an exploration of water, ecology, and cultural memory along Maryland's Eastern and Western Shores, featuring new work from Dane Tilghman and Steve Walker.
Last but not least, will have new original paintings by Sydney-based artist Fiona Smith for their exhibit Flower and Fauna! Her captivating works blend birds, interiors, design, pattern, antiques, and Australian wildlife into imaginative compositions that seamlessly merge realism with surrealism.
