Art Meets Music at the Avalon Theatre!

Plein Air Easton fans, still basking in the glow of all the art and beauty from the 22nd PAE? Mark your calendars for this! Singer-songwriter and visual artist Brett Dennen is bringing his “Art is Life” tour to the Avalon Theatre this September, and it’s a match made in creative heaven for our art-loving community.

This isn't your average concert. Brett draws from a life devoted to acoustic music, storytelling, and visual art to create an intimate, immersive experience. He’ll have his own large-scale original paintings on stage as part of the show, blending visual masterpieces with acoustic tunes.

Even cooler? The audience gets to help shape the night!

Here is a special message from Brett about what to expect:

“It is an ‘evening with’ style concert, which means no opening act. It also will be just me singing and playing acoustic guitar... What I will be doing on this tour is bringing art, music, performer, and audience together for something that is going to be unique, not just as a concept, but each night should be its own special thing.

I’ll have some of my artwork on stage that will be part of the show, along with my performance, but you as an audience member will also be involved. You won’t have to do a whole lot, but in a small way you will have to help me create the setlist and the storytelling involved at each show… Thanks for letting me do this and in general, thank you for all your support.

What a couple of weeks! 🎨

Plein Air Easton 2026 was a record-breaking year, and that’s because of the people who make this event what it is.

Thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers for the long days, hard work, and always stepping up wherever you were needed. As our Board Chair, Bill Witowsky, said, “I was especially proud of how our team pulled together and had each other’s backs while some of our teammates were facing difficult situations.”

Thank you to our talented artists for sharing your passion and creativity, to our sponsors and Friends of Plein Air for making it all possible, and to everyone who came out to support the arts.
